Senator John Warner and Excalibur Nominated
for the 2009 Collier Trophy

The National Aeronautic Association has released the list of nominees for the 2009 Robert J. Collier Trophy. The Collier trophy, the "Greatest Award in Aviation," has been the benchmark of aviation and aerospace achievement for 99 years.

Aurora Flight Sciences is honored to be included with the nomination of Senator John Warner for his steadfast and unwavering support of our nation’s warfighters and its national security. His visionary leadership in transitioning unmanned air vehicle technology to the warfighter culminated in the development of the innovative Excalibur UCAV which made its successful first flight in 2009. We congratulate all of our follow nominees. The 2009 Collier Trophy winner will be announced March 3, 2010.
