Experiment Support
Aurora devotes individual attention to each experiment's research goals to ensure
that the scientific and technical value of the project is upheld. This is our chief
priority at every point during the development and integration process, and through
all operational or environmental constraints. We find technically and operationally
sound ways to meet our clients’ specifications pragmatically and safely, and we
do it within budget.
We are alert to the opportunities that ambitious research goals and extreme environments
offer for serious, inventive engineering. This approach has enabled us to regularly
deliver outstanding data to our clients, often doing so more quickly and smoothly
than other organizations can match.
Aurora offers a unique blend of hard engineering knowledge, common sense, and practical
experience to assist researchers through all phases of spaceflight and non-spaceflight
investigations, including:
- Experiment definition
- Preflight / preliminary studies (ground, parabolic flight, neutral buoyancy, etc.)
- Experiment apparatus development / flight systems development
- Spaceflight certification, payload integration, and crew training
- Ground processing / field staging
- Mission / field support
- Data recovery and analysis
